Ah a thrift store masterpiece

While teaching Kayla how to crochet this weekend, Maggie and I took her out to find yarn. I found a great way to find yarn and to remain on a set budget. We went to the Brown Elephant a thrift store here in Chicago. While there Kayla got two scarf and a bag full of yarn for less than ten dollar. When we got back from the venture we were rummaging through the bag of yarn and found the knitted piece of this poncho and after dissembling one of the scarfs we had the rest of the yarn to work on this. All of this was made of thrift store yarn and reused buttons!
